Orcine

CAD$15

Orcine are humanoids, sporting hooved feet and the musculature capable of bringing down full-grown Hippogriffs barehanded. They are widely recognized as the beast masters of the forests, ripping trees from their roots to make way for large, wooden stables in order to house their livestock. Peaceful by nature, as they have no natural predators, the rare times the Orcine participate in battle, they are sure to see it end quickly. A tough hide that easily shrugs off arrows, can repell blades and a frame capable of withstanding canon fire, make any attempts of taking their land a bloody, and near impossible task. There are rumours of the mountain Orcine riding atop dragons, though such clans are exceedingly rare. Be wary of their territory. Do not harm the hippogriffs that roam the fields or forests, and always remember: Da Biggest Orc, Make Da Rules.

After what feels like so little time, I'm very happy to bring to you all the Orcine. It's my version of the Orc archetype less based on Tolkien, and more on being the strongest, hottest, most husband material guy in the land. He'll keep you safe; look at those muscles. He'll keep you warm; look at those balls. And he'll keep you full; look at that dick.

Rig Information

I think this may be my best application of Auto Rig Pro yet. I've realised since making the rig for the sangheili and skirmisher, ARP is really just the easiest way to get a stellar rig for any character. And so, I have used it yet again for this Beast of a Boar.

The gifs in the previews show the controls I've added with shapekeys and drivers. You can find them by the distinct, yellow arrow pointing in the direction they move. I have a lot of drivers/shapekeys on this guy, more than I've made before and I do enjoy how it adds to his usability.

But, as with all ARP rigs, be sure to install the included proxy_picker.py and rig_tools.zip before trying to use him. If you have Auto Rig Pro already installed or have previously installed the mentioned files, there should be no need for it.

Texture Information

I made use of udims for the first time, but since I don't know how well Blender would pack the files I decided to leave them unpacked this time around. There is a seperate texture zip, and I believe you can use the Find Missing Files function to add them all to the .Blend easily.

Requirements

I used Blender 3.5.1, and the file is saved on that version, but it should work with 3.6 and possibly above. 3.6 crashed whenever I tried to bing the mesh to the rig, so I had to revert to an older version.

If you have any questions, feel free to message me where you can find me. Twitter and Discord are the best because of notifications, but even FA will work.
